Welcome back everyone today we are looking at the interactive science museum called Wonderworks. Yes its the same as you hear about across the country but that does not take away from the experience you can go and enjoy. Their building is recognizable across the country for making heads turn sense it look like a building fell out of the sky and landed upside down.
When you arrive you will park in the parking garage right beside wonderworks and The Pointe on International Drive. then you walk back out to the street and into this decaying looking structure wondering if its safe or not (you're perfectly safe inside) in their lobby it looks like it was smashed on impact and even has lights going off and makes you really excited for what lies ahead.
After purchasing your tickets ($26.99 per adult/$20.99p er child) you head into the museum. and i am not going to give away its entrance but lets say you could go for a spin inside of it. now inside they have it broken down into what they refer to as WonderZones (Natural Disasters, Physical Challenges, light and sound, space discovery, the imagination lab, and the Far Out art gallery)
now in each of these areas everything every member of the family can do (except additional add on’s may have different requirements for safety) you will get a chance to pull your own body up in the air with engineering and math, get to lay on a bed of nails, try to land the space shuttle, and even feel what its like to be hit by hurricane force winds.
by the end of the day here you will be tired out and hungry. they have 2 great options for you on property. one is a food court in their arcade at the end of the museum and two is a dinner show called The Out of control Comedy Dinner Show ($29.99 per adult/$19.99 per child) show times are 6&8 pm. I would love to give you a review on that but it's still on our to do list.
so time for our evaluation overall it is a fun experience to go and enjoy. we give it a 3 out of 5 stars. upon our last visit multiple attractions were down or disabled so it took away a little bit, but it did have some great new things and some fun experiences including a laser tag game and a indoor ropes course (at extra cost) we do recommend visiting our friends at Wonderworks for a great indoor attraction away from the heat and or rain of central Florida.
